Greetings, Amanda!
As a mom of three Mouseketeers, I understand your desire for the most comfortable and convenient method of transportation for little ones. Here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, we have been receiving many questions about the use of wagons within the parks. In the interest of Guest safety and comfort, we refer to the
Park Rules and
list of permitted items, which currently state that wagons of any kind are not allowed in the parks. Personally, I haven’t seen any wagons turned away at security checkpoints, however, my fellow Panelist, Anna,
has seen a stroller wagon denied entry. So, experiences may vary, but I recommend playing it safe and bringing, or renting, a stroller no larger than 36” by 52”. If you prefer
to rent one or two single, jogger-style strollers, you may do so just outside the Main Entrance of Disneyland Park. Or, if you’re seeking a double stroller to accommodate your little ones, I recommend contacting City Stroller Rentals, an official vendor of the Disneyland Resort.
When my youngsters are in need of a break, we love taking a ride on the Disneyland Railroad and Disneyland Monorail. Other attractions that offer a nice respite are “it’s a small world”, Jungle Cruise, and Casey Jr. Circus Train. You can stop for a yummy DOLE WHIP with a view at The Tropical Hideaway, or feast on a Toontown Sundae. Shows like Mickey’s Magical Map and Disney Junior Dance Party! offer a good break along with top-notch entertainment.
See ya’ real soon!
