Chelsea from UT Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

We are attending Disney World with a party of 4, one blind, one in a scooter w/vertigo, and one with Sensory Processing Disorder/OCD, one normal teenager. We have 2 days each at MK, Epcot, HS and 1 day at Animal Kingdom. What can all of us do together?

    Welcome to planDisney, Chelsea!

You’re going to have such a wonderful and magical adventure at Walt Disney World Resort! I absolutely love Walt Disney World because it makes every single one of my loved ones feel accepted, safe, and adventurous! I’d highly recommend taking a look at the Services for Guests with Mobility Disabilities page, the Services for Guests with Visual Disabilities, and a recent answer I gave regarding sensory processing disorders to help your party be a little more prepared for your upcoming vacation!

Walt Disney World Resort has incredible resources for Guests from all walks of life, and there’s so much to do together! Below I will list some attractions, activities, and dining locations that my diverse party and I love to do together! (One of my main recommendations for Guests with visual disabilities is to get a Disney handheld device from Guest Relations so you can enjoy audio descriptions throughout the 4 theme parks. Guest Relations will have many more amenities available for Guests with visual disabilities.)

    Magic Kingdom Park:
-Dining: Make a reservation for Be Our Guest Restaurant. (Upon arrival, request one of the far wings of the restaurant to be a little more secluded and calm.)
-Entertainment: Mickey's PhilharMagic, Country Bear Jamboree, Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress, Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room.
-Attractions: Tom Sawyer Island, and view the Mobility Disability page to view attraction guidelines concerning Electric Conveyance Vehicles and Wheelchair access.

    Disney’s Hollywood Studios:
-Dining: Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo. (Typically quiet in the afternoon.)
-Entertainment: For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration, Beauty & The Beast Live on Stage.
-Attractions: View the Mobility Disability page for your own party’s circumstances.

    EPCOT:
-Dining: Make a dining reservation for Rose & Crown Dining Room. (Request an outdoor table to be seated by the water, making this a calm dining experience.) You’ll also love exploring EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival.
-Entertainment: Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak Scavenger Hunt.
-Attractions: View Mobility Disability page again for specific details.

    Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park:
-Dining: Make a reservation for Yak & Yeti™ Restaurant. (Request a table near the back for a calmer environment.)
-Entertainment: A Celebration of Festival of the Lion King.
-Attractions: Discovery Island Trails, Affection Section (petting zoo). And again, take a look at the Mobility Disability page for further details.

There’s so much to enjoy, Chelsea! You’re going to love going with the flow and discovering the magic of Walt Disney World Resort! I’d recommend looking into Pin Trading, as well. I have found that my party members that need a little slow down love this activity! You can get your first pack of trading pins on shopDisney.com, and then look for Pin Trading locations throughout the 4 theme parks!

If you have additional questions before your trip, we’d love to help you further at planDisney!
