Hi, We are attending Disney world in October 22nd-26th. We were hoping to catch the new nighttime parade at Magic Kingdom. I know it's not on nights of the Halloween parties but will it be available on the other nights? Its not showing on events

Boo to you, Shanna! Welcome back to planDisney, and thanks for stopping by with another great planning question!

Your magical and spooky adventure at the Most Magical Place on Earth is just around the riverbend, and I know you must be getting so excited. I just returned home from an amazing trip to Walt Disney World, and like you, planning to see the brand-new nighttime parade in between Halloween Parties was one of my top priorities. I'm more than happy to help you catch the oh-so-stunning Starlight parade on your upcoming trip!

It looks like the schedule for Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away has not yet been released for your vacation dates (or past October 4th) at this time, but don't fret. From my experience last week, the parade ran (twice, actually!) on the nights that Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party was not taking place. Happily Ever After fireworks spectacular is already scheduled for October 22nd and 25th during your vacation, so while I don't know for sure, I would assume that the parade will also run on these nights.

Keep a close eye on the Hours & Events Calendar on the Walt Disney World website or the My Disney Experience app to see if and when the beautiful parade will run. It is not to be missed, and I'll be wishing on a starlight that you will get to see it next month!

The parade runs in the opposite direction from the other Magic Kingdom parades and starts near the Magic Kingdom entrance and finishes in Frontierland, so just keep that in mind when choosing your viewing location. My friend and I made a dining reservation at Tony's Town Square Restaurant for one hour before the parade began in hopes that we would get a table on the patio or in the sunroom to catch the parade. While we did not get one of those coveted tables, our server allowed us to get up and watch the parade from the porch in front of Town Square Theater, and we had a fantastic view of the parade. Wherever you choose to watch it, I just know you're going to love it, Shanna!

I hope this helps, Shanna, and I hope you have a frightfully fun and spooktacular upcoming visit! Please stop by any time with any questions you may have.

    Hurry baaaaaaaack,

    Mandy
