Hi Sunday! My daughter had a large Disney wedding back in 2003 and my husband and I had a vow renewal four years ago so I have had quite a bit of experience with the magic of Disney.
The bride and groom will get the information about guest discounts and I am sure they will share that with you. There are more perks for the larger weddings so a lot will depend on what kind of celebration it will be. There are often room discounts and the bride and groom can have a block of rooms at several resorts you can choose from. There are also ticket discounts for the guests of a larger wedding.
There are a multitude of options when it comes to a Disney wedding. Many brides prefer to have the service in the Wedding Pavilion located next to the Grand Floridian Resort. Receptions can be casual at a Disney restaurant or extravagant in one of the great ballrooms. Transportation might be provided but all these details will be determined by the bride and groom and what they choose to pay for that day.
I am sure there will be plenty of free time and you might consider coming a few days early or staying a few days later. The room discounts would still apply to the extra days and you can purchase the discounted park tickets for as many days as you would like. It makes it a very good time to visit the parks for your own family vacation with the discounts involved.
