Hi Zachery,
Welcome to planDisney!
I am delighted to hEAR that you are planning to attend one of
Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings! The soon-to-be married couple should have arranged for special theme park tickets when booking their Fairy Tale wedding package. If you have not done so, I would suggest checking with them. I have a friend getting married in May at the Walt Disney World Resort. She and her fiancé have a room block and tickets that Guests can purchase. If your couple did not arrange for theme park tickets, then I suggest you check the
Special Offers page to see if there are any offers applicable to the dates of your visit.
Looking at your arrival date, I hope you have booked a resort hotel with their room block in the
Disney Resorts Collection. I am still considering my options for my friend's wedding. My budget-conscious side wants to do the more affordable resort hotel while my live in the moment side wants to reserve a room at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort because it's closest to
Disney's Wedding Pavilion at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. I would love to just be able to walk to the wedding from my resort hotel!
As you consider more budget-friendly ways to attend the wedding at the Walt Disney World Resort, I also recommend that you price out your meals as well. Take a look at the various dining locations, decide where you might want to make
advanced dining reservations, and then, on the home page of each dining location, click View Menu of each restaurant to estimate your food costs.
Zachery, it's time to put your planning into hyperdrive. When your dining reservation window opens, be sure to snag those hard-to-get reservations first (i.e.
Space 220 Restaurant and
Be Our Guest Restaurant). I am sending a little extra wedding pixie dust your way trusting that all goes well on the special day and that you all have a wonderful time. The memories will be priceless!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
