Hello Cortney!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with an excellent question!
Attending conferences is always exciting , especially when you can combine work with the delight of being at the Walt Disney World Resort!
Guests are advised to plan 1.5 hours to travel between destinations when using Disney complimentary transportation. There are two options you can take since you will be staying at
The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. The first one is to use water transportation to travel to Magic Kingdom and from there take a bus to Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin. The second option is to take a bus to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and then walk or take a boat to your final destination. However, for both routes you should plan time for internal transportation inside The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort depending on where your cabin in located. The boat ride to Magic Kingdom takes about 15 minutes, but you may have to wait 10 to 15 minutes for a boat. You will then have to wait for a bus to the hotels. You will also have to allow for wait time when taking a bus from your Disney Resort hotel to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and then some minutes to wait for the boat to take you to Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin. The water taxi ride takes about 10 minutes. I do not recommend taking a bus to Epcot because it is not commonly connected to the hotels by bus service – water transportation is usually provided between these destinations.
Moms Panel tip: to save travel time in the morning, try using the adorable Minnie Van Service! Transportation can be requested and paid for through the Lyft app to travel to all destinations within the Walt Disney World Resort.
Thank you for sending another question our way. I hope you have a magical visit!
Best Disney Wishes,
Thiana
