I am attending a conference in October 2018 at the Dolphin. If we stay at a value resort on property, how hard is it to get transportation to the meeting at the Dolphin each morning?

    Hi Lisa,

Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Nothing says whistle while you work quite like attending a conference at Walt Disney World. Immersing yourself in all that magic is great for the happy feet and great for the mind as well.

Getting from a Walt Disney World Value Resort Hotel to Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel is not necessarily hard, but I think it could prove more time consuming than you might prefer for a quick trip to get to your conference in the morning. One option is to take Walt Disney World Bus Service to Disney's Hollywood Studios and then take either a water taxi or walk over to the hotel. Another option is to take a bus to your nearest theme park and then take a bus to the hotel.

If it were me, Lisa, I would likely opt to take a cab or car service, and I'm guessing it's only about a 10-minute ride depending on which Value Resort you choose. The Minnie Van Service (based on the Lyft app) currently services Disney's Pop Century Resort and you can check to see if it will have extended its service to the Value Resort where you'll be staying.

While it won't be completed in time for your conference, I think the Disney Skyliner would be make for an awesome way to travel to your conference in style.

Learn well, and enjoy your Disney!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
