I will be attending a conference at Coronado Springs in April 2010. What is the best room location so the kids (age 7 and 2 1/2) are closest to entertainment (pool, sand, etc)? Something close for me to get back and forth to meetings would be ideal!

    Paul:

Although the Casitas at Cornado Springs Resort are the closest rooms to its Confernce Center, the bridge to the pool, with its towering Mayan temple and dinosaur dig, is nearer the Cabanas.

If I were in your shoes, Paul, I would let Disney choose what it thinks is the best room for you.  Make sure that there is a note on your reservation asking for a room close to both the Conference Center and the pool and see where they would put you.  I have found that if I request a specific building and it is full, Disney doesn't know why I requested it and can only guess what a best second-choice would be.  My experience lately has been to let them know what I'm looking for and letting them choose the building/room.

FYI: I also fax in a confirmation of my request about 10 days before we arrive, also.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
