Hey there Yvonne! Welcome to planDisney! I'm so excited to hear that you'll be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort and
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort soon. You're going to have such an amazing time! The resort has a unique blend of Spanish and Mexican architecture with classic influences and Disney touches, making it a truly magical experience. And let me tell you, the dining options are out of this world, but I'll get to that in a bit.
If you are a registered Guest and are staying at this Resort for the duration of your conference, you're in for a treat! You can enjoy everything it has to offer, including the
amazing pool complex with three leisure pools, a 123-foot-long water slide, a pool bar, a white-sand volleyball court, an arcade, and a kiddie pool. And did you know, the resort has the largest outdoor hot tub at Disney World? You can fit up to 22 people in there!
If you're just visiting for the day, don't worry, there are still plenty of things to do. You can take part in
Spanish Mosaic Art classes, watch a movie under the stars, or gather around a campfire to toast marshmallows as the sun goes down. And let's not forget about the dining options! There are so many places to eat that you'll be spoilt for choice.
If you're looking for a quick bite,
El Mercado de Coronado has grab-and-go options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and it's also a great spot to get some work done or have a coffee. And if you're looking to unwind after a long day, you have plenty of options. The
Barcelona Lounge is an espresso bar and Spanish-style Gin Tonic Club, the
Dahlia Lounge has an impressive array of wines and high-end Spanish cavas, and the
Rix Sports Bar & Grill has 31 state-of-the-art TVs showing nightly sporting events with a selection of appetizers and beers.
If you're looking for something a little more upscale, you have to try the
Three Bridges Bar and Grill at Villa del Lago. Their shareable bites and savory entrees are a must-try, like the house-made guacamole and szechuan peppercorn wings or the delicious braised pork tacos or steak frites.
Last but not least, my favorite: Toledo—Tapas, Steak & Seafood. It's a unique rooftop restaurant perfect for ending any night. I highly recommend making reservations, as it's quite popular. The highlight of the menu is the aged, hand-cut Spanish chuletón for two, which features a 28-ounce bone-in rib-eye steak. It's truly unforgettable and magical. Additionally, they offer over 50 choices of wine hand-selected by their master sommelier. Not bad, right?
And of course, you can explore the resort on your own, snap as many photos as you'd like, and even visit the merchandise locations to grab a souvenir or two.
Yvonne, I hope this helps and gets you even more excited for your trip! If you have any more questions,
just let me know. I'm always here to help out a friend like you.
Cheers
Nilson
