Attended the Special Princess Party in May 2011 and booked again for Oct 2012 as my grand daughter totally loved it. Do you know if there have been any changes ( Eg the doll or characters ) or will everything be the same as 2011?

    Hi there Mary.

One of the things I love most about traveling to Walt Disney World is how each and every visit can be as different, or as similar, as you'd like it to be. Returning to a favorite special event can be a great way to pick up on all the little details you may have missed the first time around. The Pirate and Pals Fireworks Voyage is one of those experiences that has become a vacation "must-do" each time for my family. And of course, certain food items are an absolute requirement too, like Dole Whips at Aloha Isle in the Magic Kingdom Park.

My Disney Girl's Perfectly Princess Tea Party continues to be hosted by the lovely Rose Petal and includes a visit from Princess Aurora! Each Tea Party guest receives a delicious array of finger sandwiches and desserts in addition to their beverage. Little ones in attendance are provided with the following gift items:
    • A special 18-inch My Disney Girl doll dressed in a matching Princess Aurora gown with accessories.
    • Her own ribbon tiara, princess link bracelet, fresh rose, special princess scrapbook page and a "Best Friend" certificate.

It does not appear that any of the gift items have changed from years prior however, you may wish to call a friendly cast member at (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463 to inquire about other options that might be available for your granddaughter. I noticed young princes receive a pin, a plush Duffy the Disney Bear and a Pirate Mickey cap. Perhaps some (or all) of those items could be presented to your little princess in lieu of those listed above so that she can have new surprises to delight her during her magical tea party day.

Thanks so much for visiting us here at the Walt Disney World Moms Panel! Please feel free to send more questions my way prior to your trip!
