What is the attendance like mid August? We have been to WWD in June and July both. The July trip was overcrowded and overrun with foreigners. We will never go again in July! We are considering going Mid-August but would like to know how croded it is.

    Hi Sharon,

The heaviest attendance trends for WDW during the Summer would be from Mid-June through Mid-August.  This is the prime Summer vacation travel time for most people which is why you experienced a lot of crowds when you went in June and July.  You do have a chance that towards the last few weeks in August the crowds may lighten up a bit as some school districts (especially in the Southeast US) do back to school earlier than the usual first Monday of September for most other school districts and this does allow for a bit of relief from heavy crowds I have found.  Keep in mind though that you will be right in the heart of Hurricane Season and you will still see very hot and humid temperatures.  Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

    Best wishes,
