I want to attend sweetheart’s nite but unfortunately it’s sold out but it say with valid ticket and reservation I can still enjoy attractions? What does that actually mean???

    Hello Zeola, welcome to planDisney!

Yes, the very popular Disneyland After Dark: Sweethearts' Nite is sold out for all event dates.  Even though you are no longer able to purchase tickets for the event, there is still a ton of fun to be had throughout the Disneyland Resort!

You have a few options to still be able to enjoy both theme parks even with the adjusted schedule and hours for Disneyland Park during Sweethearts' Nite events.  Disneyland Park will close early for Guests without Sweethearts' Nite tickets on the evenings when the events are taking place.  You can see all of the hours for both parks on the hours & events calendar.   Even though Disneyland Park will close early, you can still enjoy everything it has to offer throughout the rest of the day!

If you have a multi-day trip planned, then I have 2 recommendations for you.  The first would be to start in Disneyland Park during the morning, and then make sure you have the park hopper option added onto your tickets so you can head over to Disney California Adventure Park later in the day when the Sweethearts' Nite crowd starts to enter the parks which will be around 6:00 PM.

My other suggestion would be to plan to visit Disney California Adventure Park on the dates where Sweethearts' Nite events are taking place at Disneyland Park.  You'll be able to enjoy the full day without interruption!  Even though you may not have a Sweethearts' Nite ticket, you can still enjoy both parks with a bit of planning.  If you have little Mousketeers visiting with you, we would probably just stay in Disneyland Park until the park closes for regular Guests at 8:00 PM and then head home.  That's usually when we would head home anyway, so our day really wouldn't be interrupted for the special event.

I hope this information is helpful for your trip planning, Zeola!  I hope that you and your family have a wonderful trip to the "Happiest Place on Earth!"  Please don't hesitate to come back to planDisney with any other questions.

    Have a magical day,
    Melissa
