Hi Doug!
Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for sending this great Disneyland After Dark:
Star Wars Nite question to us! I have to confess, I'm probably the last person on this planet and definitely in every galaxy who should be answering such a revered topic. But I'm going to try my muggle best. (That term is y'all's too, right? I clEARly don't know what I'm doing hEAR.)
Both
Disneyland Park and
Disney's California Adventure Park periodically host special, separately ticketed events throughout the yEAR, including seasonal holiday celebrations and the famed
Disneyland After Dark series. Tickets for
Star Wars Nite actually went on sale not such a long time ago (last week) and not so far, far away (the internet). While you did miss a lot of the trying and not trying just doing of waiting for the ticket sale to go live, I'm happy to say that at the time of this writing the event on May 3
still has tickets available, but act quickly because winter is coming. (Doh! That's still not right.)
There's a lot to see and do while you're cruising through
Batuu, and I must admit it's a really beautiful and immersive world, even to someone who has no idea what's going on. Do note that some experiences require advance reservations, which include making your very own laser sword at
Savi's Workshop, building a bot buddy at
Droid Depot, and rocking out with DJ R-3X at
Oga's Cantina.
I hope that you have the very best time defending the galaxy while enjoying Disneyland After Dark:
Star Wars Nite, Doug. Unless you're one of the dark side guys, then I hope that you're successful in whatever your mission is. At any rate, thank you again for stopping by planDisney and May the
Third be with you!
