Greetings Simon, and welcome to
planDisney!
Thanks for sending your question our way. It would be a pleasure to help you to
be prepared for your upcoming adventure, and I'm not
lion! Let's rock and
roar.
Adults at
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party are welcome to
wear costumes and makeup as long as they comply with the event rules and park dress guidelines found
here. The only rules that could apply to facial accessories are costume masks (they're prohibited) and family friendliness (anything obstructive, objectionable, or violent is not allowed). You should be OK to wear a small temporary tattoo akin to Scar's blemish. Cast Members have the final say in what passes for appropriate, but if a Cast Member feels that any portion of a Guest's costume is out of line, they will share that discreetly with the Guest. I'm not concerned about what you describe, so you should wear your outfit with
pride!
I hope this is helpful, Simon, and that you have a spooktacular evening at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. It's one of my favorite seasonal events, so I'll share a few tips for making the most of your night.
*Your party ticket allows you to enter
Magic Kingdom Park at 4 PM. Arrive early and enjoy the park for a few hours before the frightful fun gets
ghosting.
*Late August temperatures are still high in Florida. Dress accordingly and drink plenty of water to feel your best all evening. Most quick-service locations provide complimentary cups of ice water upon request.
*
Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade is typically performed twice per party. This parade is a highlight for me, and I don't want you to miss it. The second showing is usually less crowded, and far fewer Guests line up to watch in Frontierland than along Main Street U.S.A.
*Upon entry, You'll receive a guide map that includes entertainment schedules, trick-or-treat locations, and spots to find party-exclusive snacks. You won't be able to do everything in one night, so prioritize your must-dos!
Thanks so much for visiting us at planDisney! We hope you have a
boo-tiful time at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, and if there is anything else we can do before your holiday begins, please let us know.
