I want to attend Mickeys not so scary and want to ride Tron but I know you need an individual lightning lane or a virtual queue spot. Will I still be able to ride Tron during Mickeys not so scary without either the lightning lane or virtual queue pass?

Hello Justin! It’s always nice to welcome a fellow Pennsylvanian to planDisney! You’re asking all the right questions as you prepare for your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is such a fun event to attend! Some of my favorites at this frightfully festive party are the Headless Horseman and the Haunted Mansion Grave Diggers in Mickey’s Boo-to-You Parade, seeing the characters in their Halloween costumes, and Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks show! I also love being in any of the Disney Parks late at night, so this is a perfect event!

Of course, many of our favorite rides and attractions will be open during the party! That includes TRON Lightcycle / Run! Keep in mind that attractions are always subject to change, but the brand-new attraction is listed as being available during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! It will be available via the virtual queue during the party nights. Magic Kingdom Park has not yet shared the details of accessing the virtual queue for this attraction during the Halloween party, but more details will be released as the party season approaches. Check the Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party page on the Walt Disney World Resort website for more details. The best section on the page to view is the area that states "Favorite Attractions." This will most likely include details on how and when to access the virtual queue. Of course, you can come on back to planDisney when we get closer to party time! We’ll be happy to share the details with you!

Justin, I want to share a Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party PRO TIP with you! Ticket holders for the party are allowed to enter Magic Kingdom Park as early as 4:00 PM even though the party doesn’t officially kick off until 7:00 PM! I strongly encourage you to take advantage of that extra time in the park! It’s a great perk of the Halloween party ticket!

    Happy Planning!
