We want to attend Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. We know it's a special ticket event. We are not purchasing park hoppers. Can we plan to spend the day at AK and then head over to MK for the Christmas Party?

Hello Troy!  Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.  Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is one of my favorite holiday extras that happens  around Christmastime.

The day of the party, you can certainly use your standard base ticket to get inside of Disney's Animal Kingdom and enjoy the day.  By purchasing a separate ticket for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, that grants you access to Magic Kingdom as early as 4:00 p.m. the day of the party.  The party festivities officially start at 7:00 p.m. and last until midnight.

I hope this helps clear up the confusion!  If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back and ask.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
