i want to attend mickeys very merry Christmas party I know I have to purchase a special ticket for that but do I have to use a day on my regular park pass for that too? or does the party ticket count as admission to the park as well?

    Hi Kristin ~

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a wonderful way to get into the Christmas spirit. I absolutely love seeing it snow on Main Street, U.S.A.!

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is held on select evenings at the Magic Kingdom from 7:00 p.m. - midnight and does require a separate special event ticket. On the evenings that it is held, the Magic Kingdom closes at 7:00 p.m. and only those Guests with the special event tickets are allowed to enter or remain in the park once Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party begins at 7:00 p.m.

If you plan to visit the Magic Kingdom that morning and attend Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party that evening, you will need a regular theme park ticket or Annual Pass to enter that morning. If you don't have an Annual Pass, you could plan a half day at Disney Springs or visit different Walt Disney World Resort hotels to see their holiday displays on the day that you are attending Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. That way you get more time in a theme park for your money with your regular ticket.
