    We will attend Mickey's Halloween Party on september 20th. We are a family of "jedis", great costumes on their way! Will we be able to carry our lightsabers with us! best regards!

    I'm sure your family will create many galactic memories at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Every year I am in awe at the creativity of Walt Disney World Resort Guests. Although the lightsabers will authenticate your costumes, you will not want to keep up with them all night. My family has a rule that we do not take anything extra into the theme parks with us. This rule went into effect after my son built his own light saber at Disney's Hollywood Studios, and my husband and I ended up being the ones who took turns carrying it around at Mickey's party. Keep in mind that your costumes should be "kid-friendly", should not be obstructive or offensive and not have sharp or pointed objects that could be easily mistaken for an actual weapon.
