Hello, if we were to attend Mickey's BBQ or the Hoop-De-Doo what would be the best way to get to the Wilderness Resort from the Polynesian? Thank you so much, your advice is outstanding!!!

    Hi Lynn!

The Polynesian Resort is my FAVORITE hotel on Disney property - I could spend my entire vacation just hanging out there!  Mickey's Backyard BBQ and the Hoop-De-Doo Musical Revue are both located in Fort Wilderness, which can often be a little tricky to get to.  If you have a car, the absolute quickest route is to drive directly there - it will take about 10 minutes.  Otherwise, just hop on the monorail headed to the Magic Kingdom and then transfer to a boat traveling to Fort Wilderness.  I would allow about 45 minutes for travel time, just in case.  Also, both of these dinner shows are VERY popular and fill up quite quickly.  I would suggest arriving an hour early for the Backyard BBQ and about 1/2 hour early for the Hoop-De-Doo.

You can't go wrong with either of these dinner shows - they are AWESOME!

    Much pixie dust,
