    Would like to attend Fantastmic Show and couple it with Brown Derby Dinner. Are these two things (show and restaurant) appropriate for a mature 4 year old?

    There is never a guarantee what a child will enjoy when it comes to the attractions and shows but when I have taken my young grandson to Fantasmic he has loved all that is part of the show.  I would definitely get the dining reservation with the show to make sure you are given a seat since it is very popular and many will wait for over an hour to be allowed in.  Coupling it with the dining guarantees you a seat for the show.

    As far as the Brown Derby as a dining choice for a 4 year old...not a problem!  All Disney restaurants (with the exception of Victoria and Alberts) are suitable for all age children.  They will have a children's menu to choose from and will provide children with crayons and other things to keep them entertained during their wait. The Brown Derby/Fantasmic combination is one of the most popular reservations to get.
