Hi Jamie,
Welcome back to planDisney, and thank you for bringing us another great question. There are so many reasons to love staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, from complimentary transportation and immersive theming to the early theme park entry that lets you squeeze even more fun into your day. One of my favorite benefits reserved for Guests of Deluxe Resorts is
Extended Evening Hours. It's such a great way to experience popular attractions with lower wait times, explore the parks under the stars, and take in the energy of the evening at a more relaxed pace.
I'm happy to share that yes, you are welcome to enjoy
Extended Evening Hours on the day you check out of a
Deluxe Resort, even if you're moving to a different Disney Resort that night. Eligibility is based on where you're staying that day, so as long as your reservation at the Deluxe Resort includes that date, you're good to go. Just make sure your ticket and theme park reservation (if required) align with the park offering Extended Evening Hours, and you’ll be able to take full advantage of that special time.
If you’re still deciding which Deluxe Resort is right for your family, I’d love to help with that. I’ve been fortunate to stay at almost all of them over the years, and the ones I haven’t called home, I’ve still had the chance to visit and explore. Whether you’re looking for walkability to the parks, over-the-top theming, or a peaceful retreat with great dining, I can help point you in the right direction.
One more tip before you go: don’t worry about hauling your luggage during your resort transition.
Bell Services can transfer your bags from your Deluxe Resort to your new Moderate Resort. I recommend timing your move on a day when you’ll be in the parks, as bags sometimes don’t arrive until late afternoon. You can pack a smaller bag with essentials like medications, sunscreen, or even a swimsuit if you plan to stop back for a midday pool break. A theme park
locker rental is a convenient place to stash that day bag while you’re enjoying your time in the parks.
I hope this helps answer your question, Jamie. If anything else comes up as you plan your stay, please don’t hesitate to
swing back by planDisney. We’re always happy to help.
Cheers,
Brent
