Hi there, Diana!
From one Floridian to another, welcome to planDisney. Don’t you love being able to tap into the magic on a frequent basis? From those random nights in the Disney Parks after work to long family days (rain or shine), it’s nice to visit my Happy Place whenever I can. Let’s get into when you can visit the theme parks, too.
There are three Florida-resident exclusive annual passes, one being your annual pass, the Disney Pixie Dust Pass. All of these annual pass types have blockout dates, while the Disney Incredi-Pass is blockout-free. What’s unique about the Disney Pixie Dust Pass is that its open dates include many weekdays throughout the year.
If an annual pass type is blocked out on a certain date, like all weekends for the Disney Pixie Dust Pass, an Annual Passholder needs an alternate type of admission into the theme parks. You can
check out the blockout dates here. The after-2 p.m. rule applies to Annual Passholders not needing a theme park reservation in the afternoons (except at Magic Kingdom Park on the weekends). But you’ll absolutely need valid admission (and no blockout date) along with the theme park reservation.
With your annual pass, feel free to visit the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival on dates that you aren’t blocked out. You will not want to miss the Eat to the Beat Concert Series, the Outdoor Kitchens, and so many surprises around every corner. I’m hoping that the infamous Pickle Milkshake makes a return this year. Fingers crossed!
AN EXTRA GEM: Keep in mind that if you absolutely want to visit on a current blockout date like a weekend or holiday, you can always upgrade to another annual pass by calling the
V.I.PASSHOLDER hotline, visit Guest Relations at a theme park, or talk to someone at the Disney Springs Disney Ticket Center. Another option is to add the
Water Parks and Sports Option to your annual pass. There are no blockout dates when visiting the Disney Water Parks, miniature golf courses, and other included activities—no matter your annual pass type.
Diana,
please revisit us here at planDisney if you want to hear more about how you can maximize your annual pass. Any one of the panelists will be happy to lend a Mickey hand.
Magic always,
LeAndra
