Can I attend Disney World extra magic hours the morning of the day I check in to a resort?

Hi Dina, and thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a great planning question.

Extra Magic Hour Mornings is one of my favorite ways to begin my day at a Walt Disney World Theme Park. Besides being immersed in the magic 24/7, those Extra Magic Hours are one of the main reasons why I always stay at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel.

Yes, you can take advantage of an Extra Magic Hour Morning on the day you arrive at the Walt Disney World Resort. You must check-in before you embark on your adventure for the day. You can do this in one of two ways. You can actually go to your Resort Hotel in the morning and check-in with a Cast Member at the Hotel Registration Desk or you can use the My Disney Experience Mobile App and complete the Online Check-In process.

You did not state how you are arriving, by vehicle or Disney’s Magical Express. If you are traveling by air and have carry-on items you do not wish to take into the park with you, Bell Services can assist in delivering those items to your room, when it’s ready.

    See ya real soon,
