I want to attend to the boogie ooigie bash in october but still be able to enter both parks, which tickets should I buy?

    Hello, Michelle!

Thanks for reaching out to planDisney. You're going to love visiting the Disneyland Resort during this spooktacular time of year!

The Oogie Boogie Bash - A Disney Halloween Party is my absolute favorite evening experience at Disney California Adventure Park! This frightfully fun, after‑hours event requires its own special ticket, separate from regular park admission. While you can’t enter Disneyland Park with an Oogie Boogie Bash ticket, Guests have traditionally been allowed early entry into California Adventure at 3:00 PM, three hours before the party officially begins, giving you a few extra hours of boo‑tiful fun! I'm hopeful that this early entry benefit will continue this year.

If you’re hoping to visit both parks in one day, you’ll need to purchase a standard, one-day Disneyland Park ticket for daytime entry, then glide over to California Adventure once the party entry begins. It’s a great way to enjoy a full day of enchanted Halloween magic, from Main Street, U.S.A. pumpkins to villainous vibes on the trails!

Keep in mind that Oogie Boogie Bash is incredibly popular and often sells out the moment tickets go on sale. I recommend keeping a close eye on the Disney Parks Blog and official Disneyland social channels for updates on sale dates and pricing. When the virtual queue opens, it can help to have multiple family members try joining. It may boost your family's chances of snagging those wickedly wonderful tickets!

During Halloween Time at Disneyland, there’s an entire world of spooky‑sweet enchantment to explore! Main Street, U.S.A. usually transforms into a pumpkin paradise, complete with the iconic Mickey Pumpkin greeting Guests as they enter. Over in New Orleans Square, Haunted Mansion Holiday often brings Jack Skellington’s Nightmare Before Christmas takeover to life with Sandy Claws mischief. You can then wander through ghostly‑glowing decor, snack on spooky‑themed sweets, and catch the Halloween Screams nighttime spectacular, lighting up the sky with villainous flair on select nights. Even the Disney Characters get in on the fun! Mickey and his pals often appear in their boo‑tiful Halloween costumes, ready for festive photos and fang‑tastic memories.

Michelle, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you are able to snag Oogie Boogie Bash tickets! Please contact planDisney again if you need more information.
