Attempting to link my park passes to my Disney app/reservation… how do I do that

    Hiya, Scott! Welcome to planDisney!

Now that you’ve purchased your theme park tickets, your Walt Disney World Resort vacation countdown is officially on! Before you know it, you will be in the middle of the magic of Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary Celebration. There is so much to enjoy during this extra special time, including some delicious celebratory treats available in all four parks. I've got my eye on the delicious-looking Anniversary Cinnamon Roll available at Main Street Bakery at Magic Kingdom Park. I can't wait for my next visit to give that a try!

Your My Disney Experience app allows you to manage your Walt Disney World vacation plans right from your mobile device. It’s like having your very own Fairy Godmother right in the palm of your hand, helping you navigate through the parks, secure Advanced Dining Reservations, make Disney Genie+ selections, and so much more! So, it’s definitely helpful to have your theme park tickets linked to your account, so let’s get to it!

    • First, locate the ticket ID number from the confirmation email you would have received when you purchased your tickets. The ticket ID can be found under the barcode on your email.
    • Next, log into your My Disney Experience mobile app.
    • Open the menu by clicking on the three stacked lines in the bottom right corner of your screen.
    • Select"Tickets and Passes,” and click on "Link Tickets & Passes.”
    • From there, you can either enter your ticket ID manually or click on "Scan Code" to scan the bar code from your confirmation.
    • Finally, follow the prompts to complete the link.

Then, POOF, you’re good to go! Just like magic, right?! Now that your tickets are linked to your account, you can now get your theme park reservations taken care of. As a reminder, a reservation is required for the first park you plan to visit each day. Then, if you have purchased the Park Hopper Option for your ticket, you can head over to a different park after 2 p.m each afternoon. Some parks do get booked up ahead of time, so I always recommend securing your reservations as early as possible. I would hate for you not to be able to visit the parks on your bucket list!

Scott, planning a Walt Disney World vacation is so much fun, but there is a lot to think about. Just know that we are here to answer any questions you may have! So, please don't hesitate to write back, and we will be happy to help you make the most of your vacation!

    Have a magical day!
