Attempting to buy tickets for the first week of July 2024. Why are all those days unavailable? Will they become available or is it blocked off completely? Other days are available in July so I'm confused!

    Hey there Sandra,

Welcome to planDisney and thanks so much for your question! It's always a pleasure to get to answer a question from a fellow Arizonan. While it certainly gets hot at the Disneyland Resort in July, it still doesn't compare - in my opinion - to our July temperatures here in sunny Arizona, so I applaud your efforts to try and "beat the heat" with your trip later this year!

Currently, to enter one of the parks of the Disneyland Resort, you need both valid theme park tickets and theme park reservations for each day you plan to visit.

Theme park tickets can be purchased at any time, and during the purchase process, it will also prompt you to add your theme park reservations. However, theme park reservations are only available about six months out, so if you're planning a trip that's further out then you can pick any date during the ticket purchase process and change the reservation later once the dates of your visit become available.

One thing to note about this approach though is that theme park reservations are subject to availability, so the one caution I would share about purchasing your tickets before the reservation window has opened is that there is always a possibility that reservations could be booked up - especially if you wait too long to book your reservation.

Having said all of the above, I checked on the Disneyland Resort theme park ticket purchase page and it looks like there is availability to buy tickets and book reservations for that first week in July for both multi-day and single-day tickets. If you only saw the first few days of the month available when you first looked, then it's possible that those later days just had not been made available yet since they are released (daily) about six months ahead of time.

Therefore, you should be all set to purchase your tickets and start planning your Disneyland Resort vacation! After you purchase your tickets, make sure to visit the My Plans hub to make and manage all the other reservations that you might want for your trip. It's a really convenient place for planning.

Thanks again for your question, Sandra! Feel free to stop by planDisney again if you think of any follow-ups - we'd love to help!

    Have a Magical Day,
    Greg
