You may be relieved to know that you are not alone in this dilemma. I have done this in the past. I did call to speak with a cast member to double-check my understanding of how to resolve this issue. As long as the MagicBand or
MagicBand+ has not been used, you can
call to speak with a cast member in Website Support to get that band linked to the correct account. At this time, if the MagicBand or MagicBand+ has been used, it must remain with that account.
Once you have this issue resolved, I trust that you will celebrate your excellent planning. You have MagicBands and I count that as a win. My family still loves our MagicBands and we adore the MagicBand+ option as well. They make it so easy to access our resort hotel room and pay for purchases in the parks and resort hotels. My Disney Experience Mobile App and the unlock door feature, we all need a break from our phones! MagicBands to the rescue!
Christopher, if you have more than one MagicBand or MagicBand+, I do suggest that you take more than one on your next trip. We have experienced the occasional lost MagicBand in years past, so it's been helpful to have a spare!
