Hi Ann,
Are you referring to the Magical Express luggage tags for guests flying into Orlando International Airport? They are often bright yellow tags pre-printed with your name and the Disney resort at which you'll be staying. You should attach these luggage tags if you hope to use Disney's
Magical Express Transportation Service from the airport. This service makes it unnecessary for you to collect your bags off the carousel at the airport; Disney will do that for you and deliver your bags to your resort room within four hours.
If that's the luggage tag to which you are referring, then these tags have an adhesive backing. Simply peel off the small designated sections of the backing at the opposite ends of the tag, thread the tag through the top handle of your suitcase, and attach the matching ends with the adhesive. When you have completed this process, it will look like you have attached a tag similar to the ones the airline attaches when you check in at your airport of origin.
If, however, you are referring to the clear, commemorative nametags that Disney sometimes includes with your vacation package information, then the process is different. After filling out the personal information on the card inside the protective plastic coating, thread the stretchy long cords through the hole at the end of the tag. Put one end of the cords through the other end and pull tight. Then loop the tag through any handle on your suitcase. (I typically attach mine to the side handle as it seems less likely to be torn off when placed there.) Hold one end of the cord while turning the rectangular side of the luggage tag and threading it through the other end of the cord. This will take some tugging and patience, but it can be done.
Good luck!
Jill
