Is there an atm onboard ship?

    Hi Stephanie -

Thanks so much for visiting the Moms Panel with your question. Whether you're putting aside some cash for tips and gratuities or cash for port adventure shopping and expenses, you're right to plan on keeping some amount of cash on you when you go out on vacation. I'm so glad that ATM's are all over now, and it is increasingly convenient to get cash at most major cities. It also makes a difference of course, that credit cards are now widely accepted at most establishments, especially in touristy areas.

At this time, there are no ATM's onboard any of the Disney Cruise ships. You'll have to either bring some cash on you, or wait until you are docked at a Port to find a nearby ATM that will accept your card. As an option, Guest Services onboard on Deck 3 Midship, can also cash your personal checks. They can do this up to $100 cash value. If you are traveling to Europe and you brought US Dollars, you can also go to Guest Services for currency exchange. Disney makes it very convenient for us travelers.

Please let us know if you need any additional planning help for your upcoming voyage.

    Have a magical day!
