I have asthma, which can be certified by a doctor, I would like to be exempted from wearing a mask outside. Can I provide a doctors letter before I arrive?

    Hi, there!

Welcome to planDisney, James. I'm so happy you stopped by and even happier to hear you'll soon be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort!

As part of Disney's phased reopening process, face coverings are required for all Guests ages 2 and up. All face coverings must be made with at least two layers of breathable material, fully cover the mouth and nose, fit snugly but comfortably against the side of the face, and be secured with ties or ear loops. At this time, there are no medical exceptions to the face covering policy. My best advice is to contact Guest Services before your arrival. A friendly Cast Member there will be happy to chat with you about your concerns. You can reach Guest Services by calling (407) 939-2273.

My fellow panelist, Sarah, has some great tips for Guests with asthma. Be sure to check them out ahead of your visit!

I hope this was helpful, James. I'm wishing you a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
