It certainly is bizarre that you are getting a message about a FastPass+ reservation linked to a theme park ticket since the FastPass+ program is currently unavailable. I'm wondering, however, if the error message you are getting isn't about FastPass+ at all but rather a
Park Pass Reservation. Currently, to visit the Walt Disney World Theme Parks guests must have valid theme park admission and a park pass reservation. If you've gotten that far in planning for your Walt Disney World vacation, that might be the hold-up. Before trying again to reassign his ticket to your friend, I'd go ahead and cancel his park pass reservations. You can do this just for him so it won't change everyone's itinerary. You should be able to see everyone's park pass reservations that you are linked to on your
MyDisneyExperience account. You'll want to select the "view details button". From there you'll select "cancel this reservation". On the next page you'll get to choose the people you wish to cancel the park pass reservation for. This should free the ticket up to be reassigned.
If removing your husband from his park pass reservations doesn't work, there are a couple of technical things to try. Whenever I run into trouble with MyDisneyExperience the first thing I do is try another web browser. It's amazing to me, and truth be told I don't really get it, but most of the time that solves all of my technical issues. The second suggestion I have is to clear your computer's cache. Overtime your computer saves up all sorts of data and emptying that out from time to time can help web pages like MyDisneyExperience run smoother. If all else fails, I have a few
