I have assigned a ticket for my husband. He is not going anymore and want to reassign the ticket to my friend who is going with me. It won't let me reassign it. It is saying that I have a fastpass on the previous ticket which I don't.

Hey there, Daniel. Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question.

It certainly is bizarre that you are getting a message about a FastPass+ reservation linked to a theme park ticket since the FastPass+ program is currently unavailable. I'm wondering, however, if the error message you are getting isn't about FastPass+ at all but rather a Park Pass Reservation. Currently, to visit the Walt Disney World Theme Parks guests must have valid theme park admission and a park pass reservation. If you've gotten that far in planning for your Walt Disney World vacation, that might be the hold-up. Before trying again to reassign his ticket to your friend, I'd go ahead and cancel his park pass reservations. You can do this just for him so it won't change everyone's itinerary. You should be able to see everyone's park pass reservations that you are linked to on your MyDisneyExperience account. You'll want to select the "view details button". From there you'll select "cancel this reservation".  On the next page you'll get to choose the people you wish to cancel the park pass reservation for. This should free the ticket up to be reassigned.

If removing your husband from his park pass reservations doesn't work, there are a couple of technical things to try. Whenever I run into trouble with MyDisneyExperience the first thing I do is try another web browser. It's amazing to me, and truth be told I don't really get it, but most of the time that solves all of my technical issues. The second suggestion I have is to clear your computer's cache. Overtime your computer saves up all sorts of data and emptying that out from time to time can help web pages like MyDisneyExperience run smoother. If all else fails, I have a few phone numbers for you to call. Disney is always there to help Guests out. The phone number for the Existing Ticket support line is (407) 566-4985 and the support line for all things technical regarding MyDisneyExperience is (407) 939-4357. I'd go ahead and give those numbers a call and they should be able to walk you through it, no problem.

I hope you get your ticket troubles all sorted out, Daniel. If you have any other questions while planning your trip, please come back and ask us.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
