When being assigned a number for the new banshee ride, do they separate families or keep them together? We have an autistic son and want to stay with him. Thanks.

    Hi Jaynee,

The Avatar Flight of Passage ride in the new Pandora -- The World of Avatar at Animal Kingdom is one of the best rides ever. You soar on the back of a banshee and can actually feel it breathing beneath you.

Your family will enter be kept together throughout your journey, from the chamber where you link to your avatar to the pre-flight area to the actual ride. In each part of your journey, you will stay on the number you were originally assigned. No need to worry about being separated.

Before you return to Earth from Pandora, you certainly will want to experience the Na'vi River Journey as well. Again, your family will be able to stay together in 8-person boats that take you through the bioluminescent rainforest.

I highly recommend a meal at Sat'uli Canteen as well. I'm a fan of the build-your-own bowls. My favorite combination so far is the red and sweet potato hash base with the crispy tofu and the charred onion chimichurri. The marinated chicken thighs are a close second with the creamy herb sauce.

Thanks for stopping in at the Disney Parks Moms Panel again, Jaynee. We're always happy to help with any questions related to planning your Walt Disney World vacation. Enjoy!
