Welcome to planDisney, Claudia! It sounds like you're in a bit of a bind, so I'm glad you stopped by. I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues with your MagicBands, but I'm happy to help!
MagicBands are assigned to a guest and are non-transferable. Open your
My Disney Experience app and click on the menu icon (the three horizontal lines in the bottom right of your screen), scroll down, and then select MagicBands and Cards. You should see your name and the names of any guests you manage (like younger children). Select your name to see the MagicBands assigned to you. This should work for other family members as well. You can also do this on the
Walt Disney World website. Once you've confirmed that the MagicBands have been inadvertently reassigned to you, you'll need to call the
App and MagicBand Support line and have a Cast Member assist you.
Since you'll be here during spooky season, I recommend that you check out
this post on the Disney Parks Blog that details all the fun and yummy treats you'll find throughout Walt Disney World. My kids are excited to try the S'mores Cup at
Columbia Harbour House in
Magic Kingdom Park. One more recommendation: The new
Hurly Burly lounge will be opening just in time for your visit. It's located on
Disney's Boardwalk and offers fun (and food!) for the whole family until 9 pm (when it becomes available only to guests ages 21 and up). I can't wait to visit next month!
You'll be on your way to
The Most Magical Place on Earth in a matter of days, Claudia, so you'd better get packing! I hope you are able to resolve the MagicBand issue soon and focus on having your most magical vacation yet! If you have additional questions, please let us know. We're always here for you at
planDisney!
