Is there a way to assign 1 ticket to multiple people for virtual que or lightning lane? I have all 3 of parties tickets, I can reserve for all on genie plus, but my wife only has my ticket and hers, not our 9yr old sons, so she can’t reserve for our party

    Hi there, Ryan!

Welcome to planDisney. I recently had to make some adjustments to my Family & Friends list in order for my husband to help manage our family's plans. We wanted to be able to divide and conquer at 7 a.m. when it was time to join a Virtual Queue and make Lightning Lane selections using Disney Genie+ Service. It sounds like you have the same plan. There are a few steps you'll need to take, but I'd be happy to help!

First, navigate to the feature menu (≡) on your My Disney Experience App and scroll down to select "My Profile" at the bottom of the screen. Once there, select the link for "Family & Friends List" at the top of the screen and scroll all the way down to the section titled "Want to Share Your List?" There, select the first option which will allow members of your list to connect with one another.

It sounds like you and your wife are already linked through your Family & Friends list, but if not be sure to have her scan your Linking Code from her own My Disney Experience App. You'll be able to find your code as the last option under the "My Profile" section of your app. Have your wife access her own Family & Friends list and choose the option to "Add a Guest." Select "Scan their linking code" from the list of choices to open her app's camera feature. Your wife can manually enter your alphanumeric code, or scan your image with her app. If you've already completed this step, your wife can add also a guest using the first option "Find through my connected Guests" and placing a checkmark in the box next to your son's name. You will retain ownership of your son's account but your wife will be able to include him when reserving Lightning Lane entrances, Virtual Queues, or even dining reservations.

If the aforementioned steps don't resolve the issue, there's one more step you can take. Head on over to your My Disney Experience Account online via the Walt Disney World Resort website. Select the option for "My Family & Friends" to see a list of all your connected guests. You should also see a note that says "Plans Managed by Me" next to your son's name, but click the blue "Update" link to the right. Once there, confirm your wife's name is listed under the section "Guests Who Can Manage X's Plans and Photos." Ensure the button for "All Plans" is selected and place a checkmark in the box for Disney PhotoPass Photos as well.

I hope this resolves your tech issue Ryan, but if you need additional assistance you can also reach out to a Cast Member by phone for more troubleshooting. Feel free to stop back and see us again with more planning questions.

    Wishing you magic and memories,
