    Laurie from CA Asked

How Can I assign a ticket to a different person?

Hello, Laurie! Welcome to planDisney. I'm so glad you've stopped by to ask your question. Let's see if I can help!

Laurie, for the most part, you are able to reassign your unused Walt Disney World Theme Park tickets. However, if the ticket is partially used it cannot be moved from one person to another. To reassign a ticket to someone else, they must be linked to you via your My Friends & Family list on your MyDisneyExperience account.

Here's how to reassign your Walt Disney World Theme Park tickets:

    • Login to your MyDisneyExperience account
    • Find the Tickets and Passes option
    • Scroll through your tickets until you see the one that you would like to reassign
    • If it is eligible for reassignment, you'll see the option to "Reassign Ticket" and you'll want to select that
    • This will pull up a menu of all of the people that you are linked to via your Friends & Family list. You'll want to select the person you wish to reassign the ticket to
    • If all goes well, you'll see a confirmation of the reassignment and you are good to go
If there are any issues when reassigning your Walt Disney World Theme Park tickets, you can call the MyDisneyExperience helpline at (407) 939-4357 and they will be able to assist you. Phone lines open up around 7:00 a.m. Mickey Mouse's time and I've found the earlier you call, the less time you'll have to wait on hold. It's pretty easy to do, especially if you are using the MyDisneyExperience app so I don't think you should have any problems.

I hope this helps you reassign your tickets, Laurie. If you have any other questions about this or anything else, please feel free to stop back by and ask me. I'm happy to help!

    Have a great day!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
