Hi, Jack!
Welcome aboard
Disney Cruise Line! The magic of your
Disney Fantasy cruise will begin with a royal welcome as you board this beautiful ship. While your room will not be quite ready upon boarding, take time to explore the ship, grab lunch at Cabanas, or even hop in the pool for a swim. Take a peek at the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App as soon as you board so you do not miss any of the fun activities that your ship's crew has planned for your voyage.
Safety is the top priority for Captain Mickey and his crew, so the
Assembly Drill is a very important part of your cruise. All guests must attend this mandatory drill before your ship sets sail. Your assembly station will be printed on your Key to the World Card. If you are assigned Assembly Station N, you will proceed to Deck 4. Follow the signs as well as crew instructions on how to reach your station. During the Assembly Drill, you will check in with your crew leader then listen to important instructions that you will need to know in the unlikely event of an emergency. Please note that all members of your travel party must be present for the drill.
Once the drill is complete (usually about 15 minutes) you may head up to the pool deck for the
Sailing Away Deck Party! Enjoy music, dancing, and a whole lot of fun! My favorite part is when the captain sounds the ships horns...listen close for a classic Disney tune!
If you have little ones in your travel party, they might enjoy the printable
My Disney Cruise Adventure Booklet. Your little sailors will enjoy cruise tips and activities to get them excited for the cruise and has a great explanation of what to expect during the Assembly Drill (there are some loud horn blasts to prepare for!) Print a copy for each of your family members for a fun travel activity and a magical keepsake.
If you enjoy your cruise as much as I think you will, make a
Placeholder Reservation for a future cruise with a refundable $250 deposit while onboard. You will have 2 years to book another Disney Cruise with a discounted rate (based on availability and blockout dates). You may book your Placeholder on the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App but make sure to do it before your last day debarkation.
Jack, I hope you have magical sailing on the Disney Fantasy! Bon Voyage!
Cathy
