Hi Stephanie! Thanks for sailing to planDisney with your question. Welcome!
I'm happy to provide reassurance as you prepare for a magical time sailing to
Alaska. Yes, when you indicated that your travel party was a sailing crew of four, you were only given options of
staterooms that would sleep four. You can expect a queen bed, a sofa bed, and an upper berth bunk that pulls down from the ceiling. When you first enter the room, you will only see the queen bed. The sofa bed will be utilized as a sofa during the day. When your stateroom host prepares your room for the evening, they will transition the sofa into a bed and prepare the upper berth bunk as well.
Your stateroom is designed to give you as much space as possible for both relaxing and getting ready for your adventures. The split bathroom design allows you an extra sink, and the space below the queen bed is perfect for rolling your luggage out of sight. You'll also have a television (across from the sofa on the
Disney Magic) that can be positioned and angled toward the bed if you'd prefer. There will be a collection of Disney movies and interesting Disney Cruise content to watch on the TV in your stateroom.
You can even order
complimentary room service to enjoy a snack or meal right from the comfort of your private space. While the room service is complimentary, it's customary to tip the crew who delivers it. You can either give cash or indicate a tip on the receipt to have it added to your cruise charges. If you are looking for something savory to munch on, the cheese plate is a fan favorite. If you want a sweet treat delivered, you can ask for cookies or even a Mickey Ice Cream Bar. The room service menu will be available to view in the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you are onboard the ship.
I hope you'll sail back to us if you have additional questions about your upcoming cruise to Alaska. My pals and I will be here to help!
Happy Planning,
Adrianna
