Hello, I am asking to see if there are discounted tickets for disabled adults? We have an aunt and cousin, aunt in her 50's and her son in his 30's both diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Are there discounted tickets for them?

Hi there, Felisha, and welcome to planDisney!

I’m excited for you to start planning your family’s visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! Unfortunately, the Disneyland Resort isn’t currently offering discounted theme park tickets for disabled adults. However, I recommend checking the Offers & Discounts page in case any of the current promotions may apply to you or your family members.

In addition, I have another option that may help your aunt and cousin make the most of their visit to the Disneyland Resort. Since the Resort strives to meet the needs of all Guests, including those with disabilities, the Resort offers Disability Access Service (DAS). This program is offered to assist Guests who have a difficult time tolerating waits in a conventional queue due to a disability. So, instead of waiting in a lengthy standby queue, Guests would receive a return time for a specific experience comparable to the current wait time, allowing the Guests to experience other attractions or take a break while waiting.

Once you determine if DAS may be a fit for your aunt and cousin, they can pre-register for DAS ahead of time with DAS Advance as early as 30 days before their visit, but no less than two days before. During the live video registration chat, they will have the chance to book up to 2 one-hour return windows for select experiences, subject to availability. This is in addition to the regular DAS benefit of making return-time selections throughout their Disney days.

If for any reason your aunt and cousin aren’t able to register for DAS before their visit, they can still register at the Disneyland Resort upon arrival at City Hall (in Disneyland Park), Chamber of Commerce (in Disney California Adventure Park), or any Guest Information location.

Before your arrival, I recommend you and your family download the Disneyland app, since you’ll be using it to schedule your family’s DAS return times once you’re inside the theme parks. I also enjoy using the Disneyland app to mobile order food and drinks ahead of time, which is another great way to avoid long waits.

I hope this information helps, Felisha! Please stop by with any additional questions you have… we’re all EARs!

    Happy planning,
    Kristin
