It is asking me for credit card information to make a dining reservation. I do not remember having to do that last year being I am using our dining plan. It says it is connected to my reservation and checked off dining plan. SHould this be?

    Hi Pamela!

Several of the Walt Disney World restaraunt require a credit card to make an Advanced Dining Reservation (ADR.) Due to the popularity of many of the dining experiences, a credit card hold ensures that the reservations will be kept.

Your credit card will not be charged at the time of booking, but you must cancel within 48 hours of your ADR time or you will be charged a "no show" fee, which varies depending upon the restaraunt in which you are booked.

You will need to provide a credit card to hold a reservation for many of the popular dinner shows and reservations, even it you are on the Disney Dining Plan (DDP.) When you arrive, just let the cast member know that you are on the DDP and your meals will be deducted from your DDP.

I hope you have a magical vacation!

    Magically,
    Stacy
