Hi again, Robin. Thanks for stopping by planDisney for another question for us.
If your child does not have a passport, Hakuna Matata! Going back to your previous question, instead of uploading a photo of your child’s passport information page, you can submit a photo of her state-issued birth certificate. If she is older than 15 years of age, she will also need a government-issued photo ID. Of course,
this requirement is for round-trip cruises to the Bahamas, Caribbean, Pacific Coast, Bermuda or Canada; this also pertains to one-way cruises to/from the Bahamas or Caribbean. Therefore, if you are flying to Vancouver for an Alaskan cruise or sailing around Europe, everyone in your travel party will need a valid passport.
When checking in at the port, you will need to
bring the original documents you submitted during the online check-in process. Therefore, remember to bring along her original birth certificate and legal guardianship paperwork (please note: photocopies are not accepted.) You will also need to bring the completed Online Check-In Port Arrival Form with you.
Once the crew members check your required documents at the cruise terminal, you will soon be on your merry way to board the ship! I wish you a magical sailing with your family. Please don't hesitate to visit us on
planDisney again if you have more trip-planning questions.
Hope to SEA you real soon,
Kiki
