Hi, Emilia!
You are going to love being an
Annual Pass holder! It is so nice to come and go from the theme parks without worrying about "using up" a day of a park ticket.
I bought an Annual Pass in late December, but have not activated it yet. When I bought it online, I linked it directly to my My Disney Experience account. Although not activated yet, it is listed under my name. It has an expiration date of December 31, 2030. Hopefully this will give you enough time to activate your personal Annual Pass! Once I activate it and use it for the first time, the one year expiration date will then be posted and active.
There really are no documents that you will receive. Once you
activate your Annual Pass at a ticket window, you will receive your Annual Pass card which you can use to enter the theme parks, and will also serve as your Annual Pass identification when getting discounts at shopping and dining locations.
Because I have the Annual Pass linked to my account, I can now access the Annual Pass discounts when booking resort rooms. And oh boy, I was able to get some great AP discounts for some upcoming stays! Although 2018 prices will be posted by mid-year 2017, the AP discounts might not be available until much closer to your travel dates. I just booked an Annual Pass discounted room for March, just 2 months out. You will have the same access once that pass is linked to your account.
I hope you enjoy all the
benefits and discounts associated with the Annual Pass!
Cathy
