I want to ask my significant other to be my valentine in a special way that would be surprise for her. Is there anything in a ride or that the team members could help with

    Hi, Cam! Welcome to planDisney!

Oh, what a sweet idea! I love when a master plan comes together to help shower a significant other with magical memories at Walt Disney World!

Cast Members are usually all in when it comes to crafting something special, so here are a few ideas I've done in the past.

First, stop by the front desk of your resort to see if there is anything special they can offer that might be resort-specific. A whole armful of leis from Disney's Polynesian Village Resort tucked around a trinket or two purchased from BouTiki and a box of those delicious chocolate-dipped Hawaiian shortbread cookies would be a lovely accompaniment to any plan you may have in or around that beautiful resort. (Shh...don't tell anyone. I just did this very thing as a surprise for two special someones who have not received it yet!) You could build a similar set of surprises from almost any location, so ask a Cast Member at the front desk as well as those in the gift shops for hotel-specific merchandise.

Be sure to check out Magical Floral & Gifts for a gorgeous set of options including Romance. Same day deliveries can be arranged if you order by noon. Heading to Magic Kingdom? Book a Capture Your Moment: Magic Kingdom Park photo session and present your question or trinkets to that special someone while a professional Disney PhotoPass Service photographer gets pics that will make you smile for years to come. Similar Capture Your Moment opportunities are available elsewhere, so consider those, too.

Horse Drawn Carriage Rides, ordering a Specialty Cake to cap off a special meal, and even booking a dining reservation for your visit would all be lovely surprises, as well. Whenever I've booked an experience for something special, I've quietly asked a Cast Member at check-in if they can make a big deal out of our celebration. We've had candles and singing with our desserts, some Mickey-shaped confetti on our table, or even a cast member-signed card on different occasions, so it's always good to ask for a little assistance in making your day or night special.

If planning a Character Meeting, you could also step away from your significant other to "check on the time in line"; instead, head to the Cast Member assisting the character and quickly inform them of your plans. When it's your turn to meet, if they can assist in making it even more special, they will. Bring a sign with the question, too, so that you'll capture that moment via PhotoPass.

Cam, there are so many additional ways to shower pixie dust on your special someone. Send us additional questions if you'd like to hear more. We love to help spread the love!

Best wishes for the most magical moment yet!
