Hello, fellow Disney fan! It sounds like you’ve already started your countdown to 2027! Or at least you’ve started your countdown to your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
I can’t think of a more magical place to count down to the new year than Disney World! I have good news for you! While plans for New Year’s Eve are still many months away from being announced, traditionally, there is no extra ticket or special pass required for New Year’s Eve in the Disney Parks! If past practice holds (and I don’t see why it won’t), your regular theme park ticket will serve as your admittance to the theme parks on New Year’s Eve!
The Disney Parks are some of the most popular places to be on New Year’s Eve. Here are some tips:
•Arrive at the park early and plan on staying all day (and all night). In the event that the park reaches capacity (which they have done occasionally in the past on New Year’s Eve), additional Guests will not be allowed to enter the park. Plan on getting to the park early and staying in the park through midnight!
•Book some
dining reservations! You’ll have a long day and night in the park, so plan on getting off your feet by booking table service dining reservations. You can book dining reservations 60 days before your arrival date. Be sure to book those reservations as soon as you can! The Disney Parks are very popular for dining on New Year’s Eve! •Consider purchasing
Lightning Lanes for New Year’s Eve! Lightning Lanes will allow you to select return times to experience attractions with a shorter wait than the traditional standby queue.
• Enjoy attractions that allow you to rest and sit for a while! Each park has attractions that allow Guests to get off their feet and rest!
