Hi there, Kristine Michelle!
Wahoo! It looks like you will soon be headed to my family’s favorite destination, the “Mickey Boat”! I am so excited for you and the memories that you will make while cruising the high seas with Captain Mickey. Make certain you don’t miss the incredible Broadway-style show,
“Beauty and the Beast”. I want to book another Disney Dream vacation just to see it again...well that and a stop to Castaway Cay...and the delicious chocolate chip cookies onboard!
So funny that you asked about power strips because when my family disembarked the Disney Wonder last week, we passed the “confiscated items” table where Guests could pick up any items that were confiscated prior to setting sail and it was FILLED with power strips! So definitely leave yours at home, along with any other items on the
prohibited items list to ensure they do not get confiscated when you arrive for embarkation. I confirmed with Disney Cruise Line and they do not offer power strips for Guest use onboard, but your stateroom is equipped with a number of
electrical outlets throughout for your use. On my recent voyage I noticed that the stateroom clock also had USB plugs which was incredibly handy to charge devices at night! Inside your stateroom you will also find a hairdryer for use in your stateroom as well as a beverage cooler which is ALWAYS a nice thing to have access to. We will often bring onboard water bottles with us and refill them at the 24-hour
drink stations for those inevitable “I need some water” moments that seem to come in the middle of the night!
The countdown to your magical adventure is on!! Wishing you nothing short of a magical and memorable vacation!
Stephanie
