Welcome to planDisney Lorna!
I love that your family wants to ride the
parking lot tram! When my son was little, he loved the Disney Monorail and we rode it around and around. There is truly magic everywhere in Walt Disney World!
You will have a few options for
parking at the Magic Kingdom. (Trams not available at all theme parks at this time.
Check website for updates.) Choose from standard parking, preferred parking, or disability parking areas. Trams will not stop in the disability section due to their location. If you are able to walk a short distance, choose standard parking and ask for a space nearest the tram pick-up. This will limit the distance you need to walk and still get in that magical tram ride! (If you are bringing a scooter, wheelchair, or ECV, you will need to use the disability parking areas.)
Once in the Magic Kingdom,
wheelchairs and ECVs can be rented for use inside the park. These are available on a first come, first served basis. Please read through all the
services offered at Walt Disney World that may make your time in the parks more enjoyable!
Wishing you and your family a magical visit to Walt Disney World during the
50th Anniversary Celebration!
