I ask a lot of questions, but you give the BEST advice!! We are visiting MK on a day that has EMH in the morning. We are not staying on property and want to see the opening ceremony. Can we get into the park just for this and then wait for reg. opening?

    Hi Timothy!

The Magic Kingdom Opening Ceremony is a favorite for my son and I because it is so magical to watch Mickey Mouse and his friends open up the Magic Kingdom! The Magic Kingdom Opening Ceremony happens every day about 10 to 15 minutes before the park is scheduled to open. The Magic Kingdom Opening Ceremony happens before Morning Extra Magic Hours as well. If you are not staying on Walt Disney World Property, you still can see the Magic Kingdom Opening Ceremony during a Morning Extra Magic Hour Day if you watch it right after bag check stations (if you stand right in the center facing the Walt Disney World Railroad Station before you go through the Touch Point Portals (the scanners for the Magic Bands or Magic Your Way Tickets), you should be able to see the entire Magic Kingdom Opening Ceremony.  Then you can enter the Magic Kingdom when the Morning Extra Magic Hour is done.

I hope that your next Walt Disney World vacation is filled with magic and memories!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
