Can I ask to have my drink served in my own cup in a counter service or in a restaurant at Disney? Or do I have to use the cups they provide?

Hello Maria, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a great question.

One of the perks of being a guest at a Disney Resort Hotel is being able to receive a refillable drink mug with a Disney Dining Plan or for purchase. The benefit of unlimited soft drink refills during my length of stay at my resort make it really cost effective. Unfortunately, you can only get your refills at your resort.

When you visit a counter or quick service restaurant in a theme park, Florida health laws prevent Cast Members from taking your cup and refilling it behind the counter. Your unlimited drink refills, do not carry over to the theme parks either. However, you can transfer your soft drink from the paper cup to your own mug yourself. I usually carry a gallon ziplock bag in my backpack to keep my somewhat empty mug separate from items that I want to keep dry. I hope this helps to answer your question. See ya real soon,
