Hi, there!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Rachel. We just love helping you plan your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
As a mom of three, a stroller is an absolute must-have for our Disney vacations. Exploring the theme parks requires a lot of walking, and those little legs tire easily! I always take our City Mini Double Stroller with us because I appreciate having it in the airports, among other reasons. I adore that stroller (it's served my family well for many years!), and I would be so upset if it was stolen, but that's simply not a concern I have when I'm at Walt Disney World. The designated stroller parking areas are monitored by Cast Members, and there's a general feeling of reassurance that your stroller will be kept safe. It may be moved ever so slightly by a Cast Member in order to maximize space within the parking area, but I wouldn't worry about it being stolen.
Stroller theft isn't common in the theme parks, but it
is possible, so you may want to consider purchasing a personal GPS tracker if you're really worried. To reduce the minimal risk, be sure to label your stroller clearly with your name and never leave any valuables on the stroller while you're away from it.
Before you leave home with your stroller, I recommend reviewing the
updated stroller guidelines. To enter the theme parks, strollers must be no larger than 31" wide and 53" long.
I hope this was helpful, Rachel. Please let me know if you have any other questions about traveling to the
Walt Disney World Resort with a little one in tow!
