Ashley, Would you be able to explain the different meal plans to me. We are trying to decide if it it worth it to pay for a meal plan ahead of time for two people.

    Hi again Saraphina!

The Disney Dining Plan has five different options.  Choosing which option is best for you can be very overwhelming.  You can click on any of the links in my answer to see more detailed information.  We don't tend to use the DDP when we're traveling with our kids, but love it for adults-only trips.

You need to really look at where you're going to want to eat and what your vacation style is.  Do you want to do a lot of romantic sit-down meals?  Are you more laid back and not wanting to plan dining reservations in advance?  Or are you somewhere in between?

If you think you'll want to dine at Signature Restaurants or see Dinner Shows several times during your vacation, the Deluxe Dining Plan is probably right for you.  See what's included in the Deluxe Dining Brochure.  This plan comes with a lot of food, but is definitely worth it savings-wise if you plan on eating at Signature Restaurants and Dinner Shows because they require two table-service credits per person.

If you're in-between no reservations on vacation and only eating quick-service meals, you would do with the standard Disney Dining Plan. This plan includes one table-service and one quick-service meal per day, as well as a snack and refillable mug.

If you're looking to just eat when you want and don't need sit down meals, the Quick-Service Dining Plan is for you.  You'll get two quick-service meals and one snack per day (and the refillable mug).  We've used this meal before and we tend to save our snacks to pick up pastry or fruit for breakfasts.

I am out of room, but please ask me if you need any more info on any of these plans or dining on your trip!

    Have a great day!
