Hi, there!
Welcome to planDisney, Brenda. I’m so glad you sent me this question, neighbor! It’s my pleasure to help you plan a magical stay for your family.
You’re going to love experiencing the
Disney Resorts Collection. When you stay at a Disney Resort hotel, you stay IN the magic even after leaving the theme parks!
Disney’s Polynesian Village is one of my family’s all-time favorites from the Disney Resorts Collection. We love the tropical, island vibe which is such a nice contrast to the pixie-dusted adventures we experience in the theme parks. And speaking of theme parks, Guests of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort have an incredible view of
Magic Kingdom Park! On our most recent stay at this unique Disney Resort hotel, our room overlooked Seven Seas Lagoon with Cinderella Castle in the distance. It took my breath away every time I stepped onto the balcony!
You must be so happy your daughter can join you, if only for a few days. Adding her to your existing room reservation at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort shouldn’t be a problem as long as the addition doesn’t make your party exceed room capacity (it sounds like you’ll be just fine there!). To add her to your room reservation, log in to your
My Disney Experience account online and scroll down your planning page until you see your reservation listed. Next to your reservation, you'll see a blue link that says, "Modify Reservation." Click on that link to be directed to a page where you can add a Guest from your Family & Friends list. If your daughter isn't already linked to your
Family & Friends list, that should be your very first step! Don't fret if you don't see the "Modify Reservation" link. If you booked through a travel agent or a third-party vendor, you may not be able to modify the reservation online. In that case, simply call the Reservation Team at (407) 939-1936. A friendly Cast Member there will be happy to assist you!
One of my favorite things about Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is all the incredible
dining options. Stop by
Capt. Cook's for a quick breakfast before heading to the theme parks. The Tonga Toast is a must-order! YUM.
Pineapple Lanai, just past the Great Ceremonial House serves up fan-favorite DOLE Whips - the perfect mid-day treat. If you don't already have a dinner reservation at
'Ohana, I recommend trying to secure one before your visit. You'll enjoy a South Pacific feast there! And for a refreshing, tropical cocktail, visit
Trader Sam's Grog Grotto. Try my favorite - the Mosquito Mojito!
I hope this was helpful, Brenda. Please let me know if you have any other questions about your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
